Jeff M. DeFord serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at MPOWERHealth, where he leads the company’s technology strategy across cybersecurity, data and analytics, clinical applications, and enterprise infrastructure. With nearly three decades of experience, Jeff has built and led high-performing technology organizations across healthcare, financial services, commercial real estate, and industrial sectors — navigating the unique demands of each while keeping technology aligned to business outcomes.

Before joining MPOWERHealth, he served as VP & CTO at Parkland Health, one of the nation’s largest public safety-net health systems, where he led a broad technology transformation serving tens of thousands of employees, patients, and clinical staff across a complex, mission-critical environment. Earlier in his career, Jeff was VP of Enterprise Applications at CBRE, directing global enterprise IT operations spanning the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

Jeff previously served as an Enterprise Architect for EDS, where he supported large-scale technology delivery across multinational accounts. He is known for developing strong teams, earning the trust of executive and clinical stakeholders alike, and turning technology complexity into organizational clarity. Outside the office, Jeff is a motorsports enthusiast, a father of four, and a grandfather of five.
